  6 मई, रायगढ़ । थाना चक्रधरनगर पुलिस ने सार्वजनिक स्थान पर धारदार हथियार लहराकर लोगों में भय और दहशत फैलाने वाले तीन आरोपियों के विरुद्ध त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक रिमांड पर भेजा है। पुलिस को सूचना प्राप्त हुई थी कि पंडरीपानी रेलवे पुल के पास मुख्य सड़क पर तीन व्यक्ति अपनी चार पहिया वाहन खड़ी कर हाथ में धारदार तलवार लेकर राहगीरों को डरा-धमका रहे हैं। सूचना मिलते ही थाना प्रभारी निरीक्षक श्री राकेश मिश्रा द्वारा तत्काल पुलिस टीम को मौके के लिए रवाना किया गया।

  पुलिस टीम द्वारा पंडरीपानी मेन रोड पुलिया के पास पहुंचकर घेराबंदी की गई, जहां तीन व्यक्ति एक सफेद रंग की Mahindra Scorpio वाहन के पास खड़े होकर एक धारदार तलवार हवा में लहराते हुए आने-जाने वाले लोगों को भयभीत कर रहे थे। पुलिस ने तीनों को मौके पर पकड़कर पूछताछ की, जिन्होंने अपना नाम विशाल चौहान पिता जगन्नाथ चौहान उम्र 32 वर्ष निवासी छोटे अतरमुड़ा थाना चक्रधरनगर, घनश्याम नायक पिता बिहारी लाल नायक उम्र 19 वर्ष निवासी जामपाली थाना पुसौर तथा सदानंद पटेल पिता हाराचंद पटेल उम्र 26 वर्ष निवासी जामपाली थाना पुसौर बताया।

  आरोपियों के कब्जे से एक धारदार तलवार तथा घटना में प्रयुक्त चार पहिया वाहन को जब्त किया गया। आरोपियों के कृत्य पर थाना चक्रधरनगर में धारा 25, 27 Arms Act एवं धारा 3(5) बीएनएस के तहत अपराध पंजीबद्ध कर तीनों आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक रिमांड पर भेजा गया है। पूरी कार्रवाई में एएसआई श्री आशिक रात्रे, प्रधान आरक्षक एवं पुलिस स्टाफ की सराहनीय भूमिका रही।
