सारंगढ़-बिलाईगढ़, 20 अगस्त 2023/जिले के नागरिकों के स्व-प्रेरणा से मतदाता जागरूकता अभियान के कार्यक्रम में सहभागिता करने से भारत निर्वाचन आयोग का मतदान का उद्देश्य जिले में पूरा होते नजर आ रहा है। इस मतदाता शपथ में सारंगढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र क्रमांक 17 के 345 मतदान केंद्र में 63 हजार 817 मतदाता, रायगढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र क्रमांक 16 के 59 मतदान केंद्र में 7469 मतदाता और बिलाईगढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र क्रमांक 43 के 247 मतदान केंद्र में 45 हजार 573 मतदाता, अन्य कार्यालयों में 257 मतदाता शामिल हुए। इस प्रकार कुल एक लाख 17 हजार 116 मतदाताओं ने एक दिन में निष्पक्ष मतदान देने के लिए शपथ लिया।
कलेक्टर डॉ. फरिहा आलम सिद्दीकी ने शनिवार को कलेक्टोरेट सभाकक्ष में अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों, पत्रकारगणों और सारबिला अकादमी सारंगढ़ के नये मतदाताओं के साथ मतदाता शपथ ली। इस अवसर पर उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी प्रकाश भारद्वाज, अपर कलेक्टर निष्ठा पांडेय तिवारी, एसडीएम मोनिका वर्मा, नोडल अधिकारी पंचायत हरिशंकर चौहान, खाद्य अधिकारी चित्रकांत ध्रुव, सहायक आयुक्त आदिवासी विकास विभाग आशीष बनर्जी, आयुर्वेद अधिकारी बी.आर. पटेल, एसीईओ संजू पटेल, पत्रकार यशवंत ठाकुर, भरत अग्रवाल, ओंकार केशरवानी, राजेश कुमार यादव उपस्थित थे।
इसी प्रकार जिले के सभी जनपद पंचायतों, नगर पंचायतों, स्वास्थ्य केन्द्रों, ग्राम पंचायतों, आंगनबाड़ी केन्द्रों, स्कूल के मतदान केन्द्रों, नगरपालिका सारंगढ़ सहित जिले के राजस्व, स्कूल शिक्षा, महिला एवं बाल विकास, जल संसाधन, विद्युत कंपनी, वन, लोक स्वास्थ्य यांत्रिकी, लोक निर्माण आदि विभागों के तहसील एवं एसडीएम, परियोजना, बीईओ, डीईओ, रेंज, जिला, एसडीओ आदि कार्यालयों में मतदाता शपथ का सामूहिक आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें मतदाताओं का उल्लास और उमंग नजर आया। इस दौरान मतदाताओं से मतदान शपथ का फार्म भी भरा गया। इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में जिले के सभी बूथ लेवल अधिकारियों (बीएलओ) और निर्वाचन से जुड़े सभी रिटर्निंग अफसर आदि ने अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
