रायगढ़, 7 अगस्त 2024/ प्रदेश के वित्त मंत्री व रायगढ़ विधायक श्री ओ.पी.चौधरी की पहल से रायगढ़ शहर की 6 सड़कों का कायाकल्प होने जा रहा है। इसके लिए 23 करोड़ 26 लाख रुपए की स्वीकृति नगरीय प्रशासन मंत्री श्री अरूण साव द्वारा मिली है। 
              वित्त मंत्री श्री ओ.पी.चौधरी के निर्देश पर शहर के भीतर प्रमुख सड़कों को सुगम और आकर्षक बनाने के लिए डामरीकृत सड़कों के निर्माण को प्राथमिकता में रखा गया है। जिन सड़कों के लिए राशि स्वीकृति की गई है उनके निर्माण को लेकर रायगढ़ में जनप्रतिनिधियों और शहरवासियों द्वारा लंबे समय से मांग की जा रही थी। सड़कों के निर्माण की मंजूरी के पश्चात स्वीकृति शर्तों के अनुरूप निविदा की प्रक्रिया पूरे करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। जिससे बारिश के तत्काल बाद काम शुरू किया जा सके और इन सड़कों और सुविधाओं का लाभ शहरवासियों को शीघ्र मिल सके। 
              वित्त मंत्री श्री ओ.पी.चौधरी की पहल से जिन 6 सड़कों के निर्माण को मंजूरी मिली है वे रायगढ़ की प्रमुख सड़कों में से हैं। यहां बड़े पैमाने पर लोगों की आवाजाही होती है। स्वीकृति के पश्चात इन सड़कों को डामरीकरण के साथ बनाया जाएगा। डामरीकृत सड़कें चलने में ज्यादा सुविधाजनक और आरामदेह होने के साथ आकर्षक भी दिखती हैं। वित्त मंत्री श्री ओ.पी.चौधरी के मार्गदर्शन में शहर की सड़कों को संवारने की दिशा में काम किया जा रहा है। बीते दिनों शहर में 3.14 करोड़ से अन्य सड़कों के डामरीकृत निर्माण को भी मंजूरी दी गई है। इसके साथ ही शहर की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप अधोसंरचना विकास को गति देने के लिए लगातार निर्माण कार्यों को मंजूरी दी जा रही है। बुनियादी सुविधाओं के साथ शिक्षा और खेल से जुड़े इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रोजेक्ट्स पर भी काम हो रहा है। 
23 करोड़ 26 लाख से 6 डामरीकृत सड़कों का होगा निर्माण
अंधोसंरचना मद अंतर्गत शहर में 6 डामरीकृत सड़कों के निर्माण हेतु 23 करोड़ 26 लाख 47 हजार रूपये की राशि स्वीकृत की गई है। इनमें 2 करोड़ 15 लाख 66 हजार रूपये की लागत से वार्ड क्रमांक 7 एवं 8 जोगीडीपा से वाटर वल्र्ड रामपुर मेन रोड तक बीटी रोड निर्माण कार्य शामिल है। इसी तरह 6 करोड़ 50 लाख 86 हजार रुपये की लागत से वार्ड क्रमांक 16, 39 एवं 40 सत्तीगुड़ी चौक से कोतरा रोड थाना तक बीटी रोड निर्माण कार्य, 3 करोड़ 45 लाख 54 हजार रुपये की लागत से वार्ड क्रमांक 19, 22 एवं 23 जिला चिकित्सालय से सदाबहार होटल (चक्रधर नगर चौक)तक बीटी रोड निर्माण कार्य, 4 करोड़ 17 लाख 99 हजार रुपये की लागत से वार्ड क्रमांक 30, 31, 35 एवं 36 नगर निगम ऑफिस से छातामुड़ा चौक तक बीटी रोड निर्माण कार्य, 2 करोड़ 78 लाख 95 हजार रुपये की लागत से वार्ड क्रमांक 31, 36 एवं 37 गोगा राईस मिल से मिट्ठुमुड़ा चौक से ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर तक बीटी रोड निर्माण कार्य एवं 4 करोड़ 17 लाख 47 हजार रुपये की लागत से शालिनी स्कूल से एश्वर्यम अपार्टमेंट होते हुए गोवर्धनपुर पुल तक बीटी रोड निर्माण कार्य शामिल है।
