ओ.पी. जिंदल विश्वविद्यालय के छठवें दीक्षांत समारोह में 688 विद्यार्थियों को मिली उपाधियां, 84 मेधावी विद्यार्थियों को पदकों से किया गया सम्मानित
रायगढ़, 1 अगस्त 2026/ प्रदेश के राज्यपाल श्री रमेन डेका ने कहा है कि शिक्षा का वास्तविक उद्देश्य केवल डिग्री प्राप्त करना नहीं, बल्कि ज्ञान को विवेक, नैतिकता और सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व के साथ जनकल्याण के लिए उपयोग में लाना है। एक शिक्षित व्यक्ति की पहचान उसके प्रमाण-पत्रों से नहीं, बल्कि समाज और राष्ट्र के प्रति उसके योगदान से होती है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से आह्वान किया कि वे अपने जीवन में कम से कम एक ऐसा कार्य अवश्य करें, जो समाज के लिए स्थायी रूप से लाभकारी सिद्ध हो और आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए प्रेरणा बने।
राज्यपाल श्री डेका आज रायगढ़ स्थित ओ.पी. जिंदल विश्वविद्यालय के छठवें दीक्षांत समारोह को मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में संबोधित कर रहे थे। ओ.पी. जिंदल स्कूल के सभागार में आयोजित इस गरिमामय समारोह में जिंदल स्टील के चेयरमैन एवं सांसद श्री नवीन जिंदल, विश्वविद्यालय की चांसलर श्रीमती शालू जिंदल, छत्तीसगढ़ निजी विश्वविद्यालय विनियामक आयोग के अध्यक्ष प्रो. विजय कुमार गोयल, जिंदल स्टील रायगढ़ के एग्जीक्यूटिव डायरेक्टर श्री देबोज्योति रॉय, कुलपति डॉ.आर.डी. पाटीदार सहित विश्वविद्यालय परिवार, शिक्षकों, विद्यार्थियों एवं बड़ी संख्या में अभिभावकों की उपस्थिति रही। समारोह में स्कूल ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग, स्कूल ऑफ मैनेजमेंट तथा स्कूल ऑफ साइंस के 688 विद्यार्थियों को स्नातक एवं स्नातकोत्तर उपाधियां प्रदान की गईं। उत्कृष्ट शैक्षणिक प्रदर्शन करने वाले 27 विद्यार्थियों को स्वर्ण, 28 को रजत तथा 29 विद्यार्थियों को कांस्य पदक प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया।
राज्यपाल श्री रमेन डेका ने कहा कि वर्तमान समय तेजी से बदलती तकनीक, नवाचार और वैश्विक प्रतिस्पर्धा का दौर है। ऐसे समय में उच्च शिक्षा संस्थानों की भूमिका केवल शिक्षण तक सीमित नहीं रह गई है, बल्कि उन्हें ऐसे युवा तैयार करने होंगे जो ज्ञान के साथ संवेदनशीलता, नेतृत्व क्षमता, अनुसंधान की प्रवृत्ति और सामाजिक सरोकारों को भी अपने व्यक्तित्व का हिस्सा बनाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षा की सच्ची सार्थकता केवल उपाधि प्राप्त करने में नहीं, बल्कि उस ज्ञान को समझदारी, दूरदर्शिता और नैतिक साहस के साथ जीवन में उतारने में है। आपका ज्ञान तभी पूर्ण होगा, जब वह समाज और मानवता के कल्याण में उपयोगी बने। जीवन में कम से कम एक ऐसा कार्य अवश्य करें, जो समाज के लिए स्थायी रूप से लाभकारी सिद्ध हो। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि विश्वविद्यालय से शिक्षा प्राप्त कर निकलने वाले युवा अपने ज्ञान, प्रतिभा और संस्कारों के बल पर देश के विकास तथा समाज के उत्थान में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगे।
कौशल विकास और नई तकनीकों में दक्षता समय की आवश्यकता: श्री नवीन जिंदल
जिंदल स्टील के चेयरमैन एवं सांसद श्री नवीन जिंदल ने विद्यार्थियों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि आज आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, रोबोटिक्स तथा नई तकनीकों का युग है। ऐसे में युवाओं को नवाचार, कौशल विकास और समस्या समाधान की क्षमता विकसित करनी होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि उद्योगों की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण और कौशल संवर्धन आज की सबसे बड़ी जरूरत है।

विश्वविद्यालय की चांसलर श्रीमती शालू जिंदल ने उपाधि प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थियों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि यह उपलब्धि वर्षों की मेहनत, अनुशासन और समर्पण का परिणाम है। उन्होंने कहा कि दीक्षांत समारोह किसी मंजिल का अंत नहीं, बल्कि नए सपनों और नई जिम्मेदारियों की शुरुआत है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से अपने ज्ञान, मूल्यों और परिश्रम को जीवन की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति बनाने का आह्वान किया।

छत्तीसगढ़ निजी विश्वविद्यालय विनियामक आयोग के अध्यक्ष प्रो. विजय कुमार गोयल ने कहा कि सफलता केवल व्यावसायिक उपलब्धियों से नहीं, बल्कि ईमानदारी, कर्तव्यनिष्ठा और समाज के प्रति उत्तरदायित्व निभाने से प्राप्त होती है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से अपने ज्ञान का उपयोग समाज के हित में करने का आह्वान किया।

दीक्षांत समारोह का शुभारंभ अकादमिक शोभायात्रा एवं दीप प्रज्ज्वलन के साथ हुआ। इसके पश्चात विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ. आर.डी. पाटीदार ने अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए वर्ष 2025-26 का वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय शिक्षा, अनुसंधान, नवाचार, अधोसंरचना विकास तथा सामाजिक गतिविधियों के क्षेत्र में निरंतर प्रगति कर रहा है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से कहा कि दीक्षांत समारोह शैक्षणिक यात्रा का समापन नहीं, बल्कि उत्तरदायित्वपूर्ण जीवन की नई शुरुआत है।
84 मेधावी विद्यार्थियों का हुआ सम्मान
समारोह के दौरान उत्कृष्ट शैक्षणिक प्रदर्शन करने वाले 84 विद्यार्थियों को 27 स्वर्ण, 28 रजत एवं 29 कांस्य पदकों से सम्मानित किया गया। उपाधियां और पदक प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थियों के साथ उनके अभिभावकों में भी उत्साह और गौरव का वातावरण देखने को मिला। समारोह के अंत में विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव डॉ. अनुराग विजयवर्गीय ने सभी अतिथियों, अभिभावकों, प्राध्यापकों, कर्मचारियों एवं विद्यार्थियों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ. संजय कुमार सिंह ने किया तथा संयोजन की जिम्मेदारी डॉ. गिरीश चंद्र मिश्र ने निभाई।
