रायगढ़, 3 अगस्त 2026/ भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देशों के अनुरूप जिले में युवा मतदाताओं में लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों एवं मतदान के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए विशेष अभियान चलाया जाएगा। स्वीप कार्ययोजना के तहत अगस्त 2026 के दौरान जिले के सभी विश्वविद्यालयों, महाविद्यालयों एवं उच्च शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में मतदाता जागरूकता संबंधी विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। इस संबंध में मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी, छत्तीसगढ़ के निर्देशानुसार आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं।
अपर कलेक्टर एवं उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि सभी उच्च शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में गठित इलेक्टोरल लिटरेसी क्लब (ईएलसी) के नोडल अधिकारी एवं क्लब के सदस्यों के माध्यम से मतदाता जागरूकता गतिविधियां आयोजित की जाएंगी। इन कार्यक्रमों में महाविद्यालय एवं विश्वविद्यालयों में नियुक्त कैंपस एम्बैसडर तथा प्रोफेसर नोडल अधिकारी (स्वीप) की सक्रिय भागीदारी भी सुनिश्चित की जाएगी। इन गतिविधियों का उद्देश्य युवाओं को मतदान प्रक्रिया, मतदाता अधिकारों एवं लोकतंत्र में उनकी भूमिका के प्रति जागरूक करना है।
जिला निर्वाचन कार्यालय ने सभी विश्वविद्यालयों, महाविद्यालयों एवं उच्च शैक्षणिक संस्थानों को निर्देशित किया है कि वे अपने यहां आयोजित होने वाले मतदाता जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों की तिथि एवं समय की जानकारी पूर्व में उपलब्ध कराएं, ताकि निर्वाचन कार्यालय के अधिकारी भी कार्यक्रमों में शामिल हो सकें। साथ ही अगस्त माह में आयोजित सभी गतिविधियों का पालन प्रतिवेदन अनिवार्य रूप से 5 सितंबर 2026 तक जिला निर्वाचन कार्यालय को प्रेषित करना होगा। अभियान का उद्देश्य अधिक से अधिक युवाओं को मतदाता जागरूकता से जोड़ते हुए लोकतांत्रिक प्रक्रिया में उनकी सक्रिय भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करना है।
