रायगढ़, 24 मार्च । राज्य शासन के निर्देशानुसार जिले में मादक पदार्थों के विरुद्ध चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत तमनार क्षेत्र के आमाघाट से लेकर लैलूंगा विकासखंड के नवीन घटगांव एवं मुड़ागांव तक जिला प्रशासन, पुलिस, कृषि, आबकारी, एफएसएल एवं एएनटीएफ की संयुक्त टीम द्वारा व्यापक कार्रवाई की गई । विदित हो कि तमनार क्षेत्र के ग्राम आमाघाट में अवैध अफीम खेती की सूचना पर संयुक्त टीम द्वारा बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए लगभग 60,326 अफीम के पौधे एवं 3 किलोग्राम प्रोसेस कर तैयार अफीम जब्त की गई। इस मामले में आरोपी मार्शल संगा एवं उसके साथी एमानुएल भेंगरा को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक रिमांड पर जेल भेजा गया है। उक्त कार्रवाई के बाद जिले में अफीम की अवैध खेती के विरुद्ध प्रशासन एवं पुलिस सघन फिजिकल एवं ड्रोन सर्वे प्रारंभ किया गया। इसी क्रम में दिनांक 23 मार्च 2026 को लैलूंगा तहसील के ग्राम नवीन घटगांव में भूमिस्वामी *सादराम नागवंशी (60 वर्ष)* द्वारा अपने खसरा नंबर 412, रकबा लगभग 0.397 हेक्टेयर भूमि के करीब 2 डिसमिल हिस्से में अवैध अफीम की खेती किया जाना पाया गया। आरोपी के कब्जे से 6.100 किलोग्राम अफीम के सूखे पत्ते एवं 16.000 किलोग्राम सूखे डंठल जब्त कर थाना लैलूंगा में *अपराध क्रमांक 94/2026 धारा 8 (बी), 18 एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत अपराध पंजीबद्ध* कर विवेचना में लिया गया है।
