रायगढ़, 27 अप्रैल 2024/ कलेक्टर श्री कार्तिकेया गोयल के निर्देश पर जिले में बाल विवाह रोकथाम के लिए कार्ययोजना बनाकर टीम गठित किया गया है। बाल विवाह रोकथाम हेतु जिला प्रशासन द्वारा सभी स्तरों पर सख्ती बरतने के फलस्वरूप जिले में 26 अप्रैल शुक्रवार को 03 बाल विवाह होने की सूचना प्राप्त हुई। जिसमें जिला प्रशासन की गठित संयुक्त टीम द्वारा विवाह स्थल में जाकर बाल विवाह रोका गया। जिसमें थाना खरसिया अतंर्गत ग्राम-नवागांव, बसनाझर,जिला-रायगढ़ में बाल विवाह रोका गया। इसी तरह थाना चक्रधर नगर के अतंर्गत आईटीआई कालोनी अम्बेडकर आवास, रायगढ़ में एवं थाना सिटी कोतवाली के अतंर्गत बापू नगर रायगढ़ में बाल विवाह जिला प्रशासन की संयुक्त टीम के द्वारा एक ही दिन में कुल 03 बाल विवाह को रोका गया। जिसमें परियोजना अधिकारी, महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग, जिला बाल संरक्षण इकाई, पुलिस विभाग व चाईल्ड लाईन रायगढ़ की संयुक्त टीम द्वारा बालिका-बालक के आवश्यक दस्तावेजों का जांच किया गया एवं उपस्थित परिजनों को बाल विवाह के दुष्परिणाम की जानकारी दी गई। बालिका के बालिग होने पर या निर्धारित आयु पूर्ण होने के पश्चात ही विवाह किये जाने की सहमति परिजनों दिया गया। जिला प्रशासन बाल विवाह की रोकथाम हेतु चौकस है, आगामी माह 10 मई 2024 को अक्षय तृतीया में बाल विवाह की संभावना को देखते हुये कलेक्टर द्वारा टीम को सजग रहने के निर्देश दिए गए है।
