रायगढ़, 8 मार्च 2025/ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर आज महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा परिणय वाटिका रायगढ़ में जिला स्तरीय कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर पार्षद श्रीमती पूनम सोलंकी, कलेक्टर श्री कार्तिकेया गोयल, उपायुक्त श्री सुतीक्षण यादव, श्रीमती शीला तिवारी, श्रीमती शोभा शर्मा, डीपीओ श्री एल.आर.कच्छप सहित जिला स्तरीय अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। 
         पार्षद श्रीमती पूनम सोलंकी ने कहा कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस का आयोजन का उद्देश्य हमारी आत्मचिंतन होनी चाहिए, कि हम अपनी आने वाली पीढ़ी को एक बेहतर कल दें। स्त्री-पुरुष दोनों की समानता एवं स्वतंत्रता की मापदंड अलग-अलग न हो। सालों पहले समाज दशा-दिशा तय करती थी, यह परंपरा जारी न रहे इसका बीड़ा हमें उठाना होगा। समानता एवं स्वतंत्रता का अधिकार तब तक नहीं मिलती जब तक आप आर्थिक रूप से मजबूत नहीं होंगे। हमें अपने आने वाली पीढ़ी के लिए आगे आना होगा। 
कलेक्टर श्री कार्तिकेया गोयल ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस पर महिलाओं को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि 1977 में पहली बार संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा अंर्तराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस प्रारंभ किया गया था। हमें एक दिन के लिए महिला दिवस मनाने की आवश्यकता नहीं होनी चाहिए है, क्योंकि हर कोई अपनी मां से जन्म लेता है और उसकी परवरिश भी कोई ना कोई महिला ही करती है। उसकी शादी भी किसी महिला से होती है और अगर वह भाग्यशाली रहा तो वह एक बेटी का पिता भी बनता है। इस प्रकार एक व्यक्ति के जीवन में महिला किसी न किसी रूप में अनिवार्य रूप से होती है। 
          आज जो भी आपके लिए प्रेरणास्त्रोत है, वो भी हमारे और आपके बीच के है, आप भी अपनी जकडऩ को पीछे छोड़कर, आगे बढ़ सकते है। क्योंकि आप ही के सहयोग से हमारा देश आगे बढ़ पाएगा। जो समाज महिलाओं को आर्थिक व्यवस्था में जुडऩे नहीं देता वो समाज हमेशा आर्थिक रूप से पिछड़ा रहता है। आजादी के दौरान पिछड़ा हुआ देश आज आर्थिक रूप से विश्व में चौथे नंबर पर है। जिसमें कई कारण हो सकते है पर उनमें से एक कारण महिलाओं का वर्क फोर्स के रूप में बड़ी संख्या में आर्थिक व्यवस्था में शामिल होना भी है। उन्होंने महिलाओं को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि आपके लिए तीन चीज महत्वपूर्ण है, आपकी वित्तीय आत्मनिर्भरता, आपकी बौद्धिक आत्मनिर्भरता जिसके लिए आपको पढ़ाई करना होगा एवं तीसरा गलत बर्ताव सहन नहीं करना है। 
महिलाओं का किया गया सम्मान
