रायगढ़, 24 अप्रैल 2026। राज्य शासन के दिशा-निर्देशानुसार मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. अनिल कुमार जगत के मार्गदर्शन में तथा जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी सुश्री रंजना पैंकरा के संचालन में 24 अप्रैल को जिले के सभी सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों एवं प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों में प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान के तहत विशेष स्वास्थ्य शिविरों का आयोजन किया गया। यह अभियान प्रत्येक माह की 9 एवं 24 तारीख को संचालित किया जाता है, जिसके तहत गर्भवती महिलाओं को समग्र स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं प्रदान की जाती हैं।
अभियान के दौरान गर्भवती महिलाओं को पौष्टिक अल्पाहार उपलब्ध कराते हुए उनकी विस्तृत स्वास्थ्य जांच एवं परामर्श किया गया। स्वास्थ्य शिविरों में हीमोग्लोबिन, ब्लड प्रेशर, शुगर, सिकल सेल, मलेरिया, एचआईवी, वजन एवं ऊंचाई सहित आवश्यक सभी जांचें की गईं। साथ ही आयरन एवं कैल्शियम टैबलेट का वितरण कर महिला चिकित्सकों द्वारा व्यक्तिगत स्वास्थ्य, स्वच्छता एवं पोषण संबंधी विशेष काउंसलिंग भी दी गई।
उच्च जोखिम वाली गर्भवती महिलाओं की पहचान कर उन्हें निजी एवं शासकीय सोनोग्राफी केंद्रों में निःशुल्क जांच की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई गई। इसके साथ ही गर्भवती महिलाओं को लेबर रूम एवं ऑपरेशन थियेटर का भ्रमण कराया गया, ताकि प्रसव को लेकर उनके मन में मौजूद भय और तनाव को कम किया जा सके तथा उन्हें सुरक्षित प्रसव के लिए मानसिक रूप से तैयार किया जा सके।
जिला प्रशासन द्वारा सभी गर्भवती एवं शिशुवती महिलाओं से अपील की गई है कि वे इस अभियान का अधिकतम लाभ उठाकर सुरक्षित मातृत्व सुनिश्चित करें। साथ ही नियमित स्वास्थ्य जांच, संतुलित पोषण एवं संस्थागत प्रसव को अपनाने के लिए जागरूक किया गया। किसी भी प्रकार की स्वास्थ्य समस्या होने पर तत्काल स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों से संपर्क कर नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र या आंगनबाड़ी में पहुंचने की सलाह दी गई।
अभियान के तहत 24 अप्रैल 2026 को जिले में कुल 421 गर्भवती महिलाओं की एएनसी जांच की गई। इनमें सिविल अस्पताल खरसिया में 24, लोईंग विकासखंड में 36, पुसौर में 60, चपले में 62, तमनार में 37, धरमजयगढ़ में 124, लैलूंगा में 52 तथा घरघोड़ा में 50 गर्भवती महिलाओं की जांच कर उन्हें आवश्यक स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं प्रदान की गईं।
इस प्रकार प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान के माध्यम से जिले में मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य को सुदृढ़ बनाने की दिशा में प्रभावी प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।
