रायगढ़, 18 मई 2026/ कलेक्टर के निर्देश एवं सहायक आयुक्त आबकारी श्री क्रिस्टोफर खलखो के मार्गदर्शन में आबकारी विभाग द्वारा प्राप्त शिकायतों के आधार पर दो दिनों में कार्रवाई करते हुए 20 लीटर अवैध महुआ शराब जब्त किया गया है। अभियान के दौरान आबकारी वृत्त रायगढ़ (उत्तर) की टीम ने अलग-अलग स्थानों पर दबिश देकर अवैध रूप से संग्रहित महुआ शराब बरामद की। जिसमें पहले दिन 17 मई को आबकारी विभाग की टीम ने ग्राम गेरवानी, थाना पूंजीपथरा क्षेत्र में कार्रवाई करते हुए आरोपी शंभु अगरिया के कब्जे से लगभग 10 लीटर अवैध महुआ शराब जब्त की। टीम ने मौके पर कार्रवाई करते हुए आरोपी के खिलाफ आबकारी अधिनियम के तहत प्रकरण दर्ज किया। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि क्षेत्र में लंबे समय से अवैध शराब निर्माण एवं भंडारण की शिकायतें प्राप्त हो रही थीं, जिसके बाद योजनाबद्ध तरीके से कार्रवाई की गई।
अभियान के दूसरे दिन 18 मई को आबकारी विभाग ने थाना कोतरारोड़ अंतर्गत ग्राम सहसपुरी में दबिश देकर आरोपी दुष्यंत सिदार के कब्जे से भी 10 लीटर महुआ शराब जब्त की। विभागीय टीम ने मौके पर शराब को जब्त कर आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया। आबकारी विभाग ने दोनों आरोपियों के विरुद्ध आबकारी अधिनियम की धारा के तहत प्रकरण दर्ज कर न्यायालय में पेश किया, जहां से उन्हें जेल भेज दिया गया। आबकारी अधिकारी ने कहा है कि जिले में अवैध शराब निर्माण, परिवहन एवं बिक्री के खिलाफ अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा। प्रशासन ने आम नागरिकों से भी अपील की है कि वे अवैध शराब से संबंधित किसी भी गतिविधि की जानकारी तत्काल प्रशासन अथवा आबकारी विभाग को दें, ताकि समय रहते प्रभावी कार्रवाई की जा सके।
