रायगढ़, 7 अगस्त 2024/ जिले के ऋणी और अऋणी किसान अब 16 अगस्त तक खरीफ फसलों के लिए बीमा करा सकेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना अंतर्गत खरीफ 2024 के फसलों के बीमा कराने की अंतिम तिथि 31 जुलाई को बढ़ाकर अब 16 अगस्त 2024 कर दिया गया है।
उप संचालक कृषि रायगढ़ ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि जिले के अन्नदाता किसानों के फसलों की सुरक्षा हेतु बीमा आवेदन करने से वंचित ऋणी व अऋणी किसान अब 16 अगस्त तक अपना आवेदन नजदीकी बैंक, पोस्ट ऑफिस, लोक सेवा केन्द्र, बीमा समन्वयक अथवा कृषि विभाग के माध्यम से जमा कर योजना का लाभ ले सकते है। जिले के समस्त ऋणी एवं अऋणी किसान जो भू-धारक एवं बटाईदार है वे अपनी फसलों का शत-प्रतिशत बीमा करा सकते है। ताकि प्राकृतिक आपदाओं जैसे प्रतिकूल मौसम, सुखा, बाढ़, जलप्लावन, कीटव्याधि, ओलावृष्टि आदि से होने वाले नुकसान से राहत मिल सके और आर्थिक हानि से बचा जा सके। बीमित फसल क्षति का दावा के लिए बीमा कंपनी (भारतीय कृषि बीमा कंपनी लिमिटेड)के टोल फ्री नंबर 1800-419-0344, 14447 में 72 के भीतर फसल क्षति की सूचना देना अनिवार्य होता है।
