जोबी-बर्राः- शनिवार दिनांक 25 मई 2024 को शहीद वीर नारायण सिंह शासकीय महाविद्यालय जोबी-बर्रा ने एक गौरवशाली कार्यक्रम में शहीद नन्द कुमार पटेल को समर्पित श्रद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान शहीद नन्द कुमार पटेल विश्व विद्यालय के कुल पुरूष की याद में जोबी महाविद्यालय परिसर में स्मृति चिन्ह एवं उनके छायाचित्र स्थापित किए गए। कार्यक्रम में प्राचार्य श्री रविन्द्र कुमार थवाईत के साथ संलग्न कर्मचारियों और विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साह भरी भावनाओं के साथ भाग लिया। सभी ने शहीद नन्द कुमार पटेल के योगदान और समर्पण को याद किया और आदर के साथ श्रद्धांजलि की अभिव्यक्ति दी। इस रूप में, श्रद्धांजलि समारोह ने न केवल शहीदों की याद में एक साथ आने की भावना को उत्तेजित किया, बल्कि उनके समर्पण, योगदान और वीरता को भी सम्मानित किया।
इस अवसर पर, प्राचार्य श्री थवाईत ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा की हमारा महाविद्यालय जिस विश्व विद्यालय से संबंद्ध है, वह शहीद नन्द कुमार पटेल के नाम पर ही स्थापित है। शहीद पटेल छत्तीसगढ़ के ऐसे व्यक्तित्व थे, जिन्होंने प्रदेश की जनता की सेवा में अपना तन-मन-धन सब कुछ न्योछावर कर दिया। उन्होंने लोगों की समस्याओं को सुना और उनके हल के लिए हमेशा प्रतिबद्धता दिखाई। विशेषकर, गरीबी को कम करने, शिक्षा को प्रोत्साहित करने और सामाजिक न्याय सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कई योजनाएं चलाई। उनके नेतृत्व और लोक कल्याण के प्रति समर्पण को याद करते हुए, उन्हें हमेशा सम्मान और स्मृति मिलती रहेगी। उल्लेखनीय है कि श्रद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम के दौरान व्यवस्थागत प्रबंधकीय कार्य में कर्मचारी श्री महेश सिंह सिदार का सहयोग सराहनीय रहा।
